Scene 1

Paris goes to Friar Lawrence to tell him about his marriage on Thursday with Juliet, then Juliet arrives at Friar Lawrence’s cell and Paris greets his wife to be. They have a conversation about there marriage then Juliet tells him she wants to marry him but in a sarcastic way. Juliet asks if she can speak to Friar Lawrence alone; so Paris leaves. Juliet is really upset so Friar Lawrence has a plan, his plan is to give Juliet a potion and to let the nurse go into a different room to sleep, while she is by herself she will take the potion then she will fall asleep and her heart rate and pulse will be very low so the next morning everyone will think she is dead once they bury her and have the funeral that will give Friar Lawrence enough time to get Romeo. Eventually he will come with Romeo and dig her back up by then she will wake up and they will “flee to Mantua”.

Scene 2

Capulet is preparing for the wedding then Juliet comes in telling her father that she will listen to him and get married and from now on she will always follow/obey his commands, then he forgives her and tells her to get married.
