Tennis Comentary

And now it comes to the Wimbledon final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murry. It has been 70 long years since a British competitor has become a champion. Andy Murry will be looking for British history and Novak Djokovic will be looking for another ruitined win. Will the champion strive through victory or will the underdog create history?

Motivational speech

As we come across the struggle in poverty all around the globe, I still have hope. It is hope that we can put an end to this terrible distress. I have hope that one day we can fully support the lives of others, to stop the suffering of our fellow citizens. We have become selfish using the excuse “every man for himself” and I promise that we can change our way of life and become each overs allies.

Comparing animal farm to Russian revolution

Snowball- Leon Trotsky

Leon Trotsky was a Marxist, revolutionary and theorists. Soviet politician, and the founding leader of the red army. They have similar aspects like, snowball is smart and a good speaker and he wants to make life better for all his companions. Leon Trotsky wanted to make life better for all in Russia. Another is that Leon Trotsky got chased away by Lenin’s KGB. Snowball got chased away into exile by napoleons dogs.

Napoleon- Joseph Stalin

Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union in the 20’s. They both were not smart and is not a good speaker. Joseph Stalin also was running a feudalist system and became malicious with his power by trying to run a dictatorship. Napoleon is similar as he is trying to brainwash the animals and manipulating them by letting the animals believe snowball is bad.

Boxer – Dedicated communist supporters

Boxer is strong and dedicated to help the farm. The supporters want to help their society as much as possible, they also were strong mentally.

Morning Events

  1. Wake up
  2. Eat breakfast
  3. Get on the bus
  4. Go tesco
  5. Go to school

I woke up with my eyes half open and see my clothes on the side. I eat breakfast and taste the thin layer of Nutella spreaded on my toast. I get on the bus and feel a sweaty man corrupting my personal space on the chair. I enter tesco and smell the refreshing pastries in the corner. I go to school and hear people shouting in nine square.

I see my clothes. I taste Nutella toast. I feel a sweaty man corrupting my personal space. I smell pastries. I hear people shouting.

The blury vision of school clothes. The bitter tang of too much butter on toast. The sweaty man corrupting your personal space. The  sense of strong, raw fish. The noise of screaming children bursting your ear drums.

You have blury vision of your school clothes. You taste the bitter tang of too much butter on toast. You feel the sweaty man corrupting your personal space. Your sense of strong, raw fish. You hear noise of screaming children bursting your ear drums. You feel year 7 kids colliding in to you rapidly. You smell the revolting dog crap near you. You feel the soft gewy mess underneath your shoe.

Above the birds were thick, white clouds.

You have blury vision of your school clothes. You taste the bitter tang of too much butter on toast. The feel of the sweaty man corrupting your personal space. Your sense of . Getting off the bus, hearing the  noise of screaming children bursting your ear drums. You feel year 7 kids colliding in to you rapidly, the zip of your school bag rips open and all of your work and stationary comes out. You go inside your form room and hear the teacher call your name, your response sounds fearful, trying to make your presence as unknown as possible. A sound of footsteps coming in the distance, slowly but mentally agonising. Suddenly, The feeling of your heart pounding while you walk through the corridor, knowing that he is there waiting for you like a lion hunting its prey. You quickly avoid the situation and try to escape to your next lesson hoping he will not recognise you. Finally the feeling of relief knowing that you have got away and have arrived at your lesson. Seeing your classmates and your history teacher all ready for the school trip, as you know you will not be out of school for the whole day.

Waking up to the bright sunlight glimmering on your half opened eyes.

Semantic Field

In the play Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare uses semantic field in various ways. Semantic field is a lexical set of semantically related items and Shakespeare implies this in a clever way. Fate is one of the main parts in the play as it shows in the how Romeo puts his destiny in the hands of God when he is saying “But he hath the steerage of my course, direct my sail”. This shows how he is asking God to control his future, and this leads up to Romeo meeting Juliet by coincidence, like how the man went up to Romeo asking him to read the guest list for him but could have chosen anyone. Romeo saw his crush rosoline was going to be there so he decided to turn up, however he would yet to meet his one true love Juliet at the capulet party. Later on in the play Romeo makes a very significant choice and as we know at the start for Romeo it is about a contest between fate and self decision making before he met Juliet at the capulet party he chose to follow fate and for God to be his guidence, but then he got banished from Verona and he found it desperately hard to cope and Juliet was the only     thing that gave him hope. The plan friar Lawrence and Juliet had made was not as successful as they hoped as the letter from friar Lawrence did not get delivered to Romeo so when Romeo found out that everyone thought Juliet was dead he had no evidence which denied her death and raw pain in his heart; so he was forced to believe it.  He started to break down in tears thinking his one true love was dead and he decided to rely on his self decision making by shouting out “is it e’en so? Then I defy you, stars! Thou know’st my lodging. Get me ink and paper, and hire post horses. I will hence tonight”. Shakespeare uses fate and coincidence to intrigue the readers and this effects how we think of fate in play play.

Language features

Shakespeare has already shown how he uses language features in the play Romeo and Juliet on many occasions, I am going to go in detail in act 2 scene 2. This particular scene is a prime example, one type of language feature he uses is metaphors. Romeo says “it is the east, and Juliet is the sun!”,Romeo is comparing Juliet to the sun because the sun is beautiful and he is saying she is beautiful.

Shakespeare also uses similes for example, “the brightest of her cheek would shame those stars, as daylight doth a lamp” ,in this quote Romeo compares Juliet to light because he considers the theme of light and dark as symbolic of the natural beauty of young love.

Shakespeare includes dramatic irony in this scene, this is when Juliet is standing on her balcony thinking she is talking to herself about her love for Romeo and how she wishes he was not a Montague. Since Romeo is standing right underneath her and she does not know but the audience does; that is dramatic irony.

They have a conversation about there marriage then Juliet tells him she wants to marry him but in a sarcastic way. Juliet asks if she can speak to Friar Lawrence alone; so Paris leaves.
